This Privacy Policy explains how WOODFALL, LLC, doing business as Vegas Local Marketing (“Vegas Local Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit vegaslocalmarketing.com (the “Website”), contact us, or request a consultation. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website or send us information.
This Privacy Policy covers the Website and the communications you start through it. It does not cover information we receive while providing services to a client under a separate written agreement; that agreement and any related data terms govern that information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out our consultation form, email us, or call us, you may give us:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your company or business name and website address;
- the services you are interested in; and
- anything you choose to write in your message, such as your goals, budget or current marketing.
Please do not send us sensitive information, such as government identification numbers, financial account or card numbers, health information, or passwords. We do not ask for it through the Website.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our systems and service providers may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and general location derived from your IP address. When you submit a form, our form software also records the date and time, your IP address, your browser details and the page you submitted it from, so that we can respond to you and protect the form from abuse.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, keep it secure, remember preferences and, if enabled, measure how the Website is used. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from publicly available sources, such as your business website or public business listings, when we prepare for a consultation you requested.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiry and schedule and hold consultations;
- prepare proposals and provide the services you ask for;
- communicate with you about your inquiry, proposal or engagement;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Website;
- detect, prevent and respond to spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents and other harmful activity;
- understand how visitors use the Website, if analytics tools are enabled;
- comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights, property and safety and those of others; and
- carry out any other purpose we describe to you when we collect the information, or with your consent.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call you or send you text messages about your inquiry, consultation or engagement. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us at any time to stop calling or texting you, and you can reply STOP to any text message we send. Your consent to calls or texts is not a condition of any purchase.
We will email you about your inquiry and any services you request. If we send marketing emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe, and we will honor your request promptly. You will still receive messages about any engagement you have with us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers. We use companies that help us run the Website and our business, such as website hosting, form processing, email delivery, spam and abuse protection, scheduling, file storage, analytics and customer relationship tools. They may use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Our website partner. If you ask about website design or development, we may share your contact details and project information with Vegas Website Design, our website partner, so that it can respond to you about that work. Vegas Website Design handles that information under its own privacy policy.
- Professional advisers. We may share information with our lawyers, accountants and insurers when needed for their services to us.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that the law, a court order, legal process or a government request requires it, or that disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Vegas Local Marketing, our clients, you or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.
- With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose with your consent or at your direction.
We may also share information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it no longer reasonably identifies you.
Analytics and advertising tools
We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use the Website. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information about your use of the Website and other websites over time. If we use advertising tools, such as conversion tracking for our own ads, they may do the same. You can limit this through your browser settings, by blocking cookies, or through opt out tools the providers offer, such as the Google Analytics opt out browser add on.
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to them, the Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Where the law requires us to treat a browser signal such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out, we will do so.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to you, provide services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, unless a longer period is required or allowed by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or deidentify it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to the Website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us information you consider highly confidential through the Website or by email.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email us at [email protected] or call (702) 960-3763. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where the law requires or allows us to.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to receive a copy of your information, to opt out of certain processing, or to appeal a decision about your request. We will honor those rights as required by the law that applies to you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Nevada residents
We do not sell covered information as defined in Nevada law. Nevada residents may still send a request to opt out of any future sale of covered information to [email protected], and we will record and honor it.
Reviewing and changing your information
You can review and request changes to the personal information you have given us through the Website by contacting us at [email protected].
Children
The Website is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Website links to other websites, including Vegas Website Design. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites. Please review the privacy policy of each website you visit.
Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
